""Broken Chain"" We knew little that morning That God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone, For part of us went with you, That day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, Your love is still our guide; And though we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one The chain will link again. Julie Hahler, 48, of Littleton. Daughter of Jane & Rod Hahler. Sister of Richard (Julie) Hahler, Beth (Chris) Plott & Jason (Donna) Hahler. Aunt of Christopher, Caleb, Derek, Grace, Ethan & Abigail. Niece of Joyce Duffy, Germaine Clark, and Pam Hahler. Julie was an incredible daughter, sister, aunt, and friend! She graduated from Bear Creek High School in 1980 and from Metropolitan State College in 1986 with a BA in Business Communications with a minor in Journalism. Over the years she worked at Bank Western Federal Savings Bank, Globus/Cosmos Tourama, US Bank, Ashcroft Homes, Title Services, and Pinnacle Mortgage Group, Inc. She enjoyed softball, volleyball, hiking in the mountains, walking her dog Toby, golfing, skiing, and entertaining her nieces and nephews. She was a wonderful friend to so many people that were blessed to have known her. Julie was taken away from us way too early due to Ovarian Cancer that was misdiagnosed. Julie was truly an angel here on Earth - God was good to the world the day he sent you to us. We are all so sad that he has called you home.
