Julie Anne Radford Harper, 76, of Centennial, CO passed away April 28. Born December 11, 1939 in Los Angeles, CA to Lois and Harry Radford. She is preceded in death by her mother and father and husband, Paul Harper. Julie is survived by her two sons, Christopher Paul and Anthony Jene and wife Pamela Harper, granddaughter Erika Danielle Harper, sisters Barbara Lee (Pete) Bullock, Paula (Samuel) Salter, niece Sheila (Jeff) Harris, nephews Brian Bullock and Douglas Bullock. Julie grew up in Haxtun, CO, attended Haxtun High School followed by attendance and graduation from the University of Colorado with a degree in elementary education. She achieved the academic excellence recognition of Phi Beta Kappa. She met her husband, Paul, in 1959 and they married in 1960. They were married 55 years at the time of his death. Julie was a faithful member of Alpha Omega Pi sorority and was an active alumnus. Julie loved gardening, traveling, genealogy, art museums, and was an avid reader. She had many wonderful friends and loved her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her only granddaughter, Erika. A memorial service will be held on May 20 at 1:00 p.m. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, CO.
