Julio Melendez

Julio Melendez passed away September 23, 2010. He was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico in the early 1900's. He came to live in New York City when he was around 19 years of age. There he married Dolores Auffant. They were married for over 50 years and had two children, Judy and Julius Robert. Julio was widowed on June 26, 1991. For health reasons he came to live his later years with or near his son and daughter-in-law in Colorado. Julio Melendez is survived by his son Julius Robert Melendez, sister Mary Dopico, brother Naldo Melendez along with nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service for Julio will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 2, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 16300 East Costilla Avenue, Foxfield, Colorado, 80016.
