June B Hammond

June B Hammond, 87, died Sept 4, 2012 after a short illness. She was born June 3, 1925 in Los Angeles, CA, and was raised in Escalon, CA. She lived a great life, had a terrific family, many friends, ran an incredible candy store, and enjoyed life to the fullest. She married Tom Hammond of Denver where they raised a family of five children, and worked in the family business, Hammond's Candies. She freely volunteered her time and money to many organizations. She was a past queen of El Madjel Temple, Daughters of the Nile and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Tommy (1985) and is survived by her children Carl (Jo Anne) of San Diego, CA, George of Denver, Keith of Corpus Christi, TX, Patrick (Gail) of Eagan, MN, and Robin (Emery) Dorsey, of Wheat Ridge, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on October 13th, 11:00 AM at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada.
