Junior Ralph Stewart passed away April 14, 2022. Ralph was born June 8, 1934 in Huntsville, MO.
Ralph married Wanda Brungardt August 14, 1952 in Aurora, Colorado. They would have celebrated 70 wonderful years of marriage August 14, 2022. The Stewarts farmed over 10,000 acres of wheat in Arapahoe and Elbert Counties. Ralph and Wanda moved to their ranch in Elizabeth, CO in 1961 with their three children. While ranching Ralph also drove a bus for the Elizabeth School District until 1972. Ralph and Wanda owned and operated the Conoco Service Station and The Branding Iron Café in Elizabeth, CO for several years. After selling the ranch, service station and café they moved to Aurora, CO and Ralph worked for John Deere in Franktown, CO and later the John Deere in Keansburg, CO. After retiring Ralph and Wanda moved to Limon, CO where they owned several rental properties. Following the Limon tornado in 1990, which destroyed several of the properties they moved to Nancy and Ed Geesens ranch in Agate, CO. helping with farming and ranching. They then moved to a senior living community at Heather Gardens in Aurora, CO. They sold their condominium and moved to Castle Rock with Jerry Stewart. They moved to Elizabeth, CO. to live with Diane Stewart. They then moved to Cherreylyn Health Care Center in Littleton, CO., where Ralph passed away on April, 14.
He is survived by his wife Wanda and all of his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many niece’s and nephews and friends.
Ralph loved riding, roping, playing cards, hunting and was a very social person. The love he shared with his wife, children, grand children and great grandchildren made his blue eyes shine.
Recitation of the Rosary will be at 9:00am on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from the Chapel of Horan & McConaty-Aurora.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from the Chapel of Horan & McConaty-Aurora.
