Justin Frank Lundstrom died peacefully at 7:00 PM on November 28, 2013, at Heritage Club Mountain View. A private Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013, at 10:00 AM with Pastor Scott Maxwell, Justin's grandson, to officiate the service. Justin was cremated and his interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Justin was born in Tekamah, Nebraska, on August 20, 1918, to Frank Otto Lundstrom and Bessie (Green) Lundstrom. He graduated from Tekamah High School and attended the University of Nebraska. He married Betty June Gibbons on October 9, 1939. To this union, two children were born: Eric Justin and Julienne Kay. The family lived in Peoria, Illinois for 4 years where Justin worked for RG LeTournea, a heavy grading equipment company. Justin then served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After his discharge, the family moved to Denver, Colorado, where Justin was employed by Gates Rubber Company for 34 years. At Gates, Justin worked in industrial engineering and the belt testing laboratory, the largest belt testing lab in the world at the time. After his retirement, Betty and Justin kept active with golf, church activities, billiards, bridge, and traveling. Justin is survived by his loving wife Betty, son, Eric; daughter, Julie (Lynn) Walworth; grandchildren Kim (Tom) Morrow, Scott (Kim) Maxwell and Justin Walworth; five great-grandchildren; brother Louis (Phyllis) Lundstrom and many nieces and nephews.
