Our Cancer fighting Ninja, Justin Allen Miller, age 10, passed away January 21, 2014 in Aurora, Colorado, surrounded by family and friends. His passing is followed by Justin's courageous 8-year battle with cancer. Justin was born on April 28, 2003, in Aurora to Lori Ann Ahern and Jeffrey Allen Miller. Justin has always had a heart of gold. He was diagnosised with stage IV neuroblastoma in September 2006, relapsing 6 additional times over the next several years. Justin had an incredible spirit and fought cancer with courage and determination. He inspired many people along the way with his story and his strength. Justin lived each day to the fullest no matter what the day brought. To his last days, he continued to defy the odds and pave the way to new treatments and new options. Justin loved legos more than anything in this world. He was also a proud member of 5th grade, his school choir and cub scout pack 252. He became an Honorary Aurora Police officer and was awarded the Medal of Honor in the Spring of 2013 - one of his proudest accomplishments until now. Justin spent a majority of his free time raising awareness for childhood cancer. He was honored to be an ambassador for the St Baldrick's Childhood Cancer organization and he also helped introduce the multi-million dollar research collaboration between Stand Up to Cancer and St. Baldrick's to the world. Justin was one of the most compassionate boys you could ever meet, wise beyond his 10 years of life. Justin once said you could get through anything ""with the three goods""... ""Good friends, Good family, Good legos!"" Justin also adored his fans - he always believed he was ""famous"". Justin is survived by his Mom, Lori Ahern Miller; Dad, Jeffrey A. Miller; sisters, Kayla Ahern and Kelly Miller; grandparents, Jim Ahern (Phoenix, AZ); John and Lynda Miller (Lyndhurst, MN); Alice and Charles Eaton (Rose Hill, KS); and many loving extended family members and friends. A Service for Justin will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, January 25th at the Southeast Christian Church, 9650 Jordan Road, in Parker, Colorado. Prior to the service, a visitation will be held from 11:00-11:45am at the Church. Memorial remembrances in honor of Justin may be made to...
