Kaedra Lynn Christmas

Kaedra Lynn Christmas came into our life May 14, 2015 and grew her angel wings March 13, 2019. Kaedra was a warrior princess battling congenital heart disease from birth, surviving multiple heart surgeries and baffling those who cared for her by beating the odds with her tenacious spirit and insurmountable joy. In her all too short life, Kaedra made an impact on everyone she met with her infectious laugh, her love of singing and dancing, obsession with princesses, cars, animals, colors, and chewing on her pulse ox to get the nurses in her room.

She lost her final battle surrounded by her family, friends, nurses and medical staff who loved her deeply. She is survived by her mom Keisha Boyd (MT), father Loquavious Christmas (MS), Grammama Kris (as Kaedra called her), Grandparents David & Ruth Ann Boyd (MT), Grandparents Ruthie & Terrance Collins (MS), Nana & Papa-Phyllis & Joe Joseph (MT), Great Grandma's Carolyn Christmas & Betty Davis (MS) Uncles David Correa (MT), Jamal Christmas (MS), & Terrance Collins Jr.(MS), Auntie's Davielle Correa & Makayla Boyd & cousins Daelyn, Ellie and Ace of MT. She is also survived by numerous great aunts & uncles, cousins, friends and extended family.

The family would like to recognize the nurses, doctors, and multitude of medical professionals at Children's Hospital Colorado for all the love, joy, and exceptional care the staff gave to Kaedra's life. She will forever live in the hearts of all those she touched.
