Karen Sue Coufal

Karen Sue Coufal, age 73, was born on October 5, 1946 in Denver, Colorado, to William and Genaveve (Piper) Hufnagel, and passed away on May 10, 2020 in Denver, Colorado.

Karen was a preschool teacher for many years before being employed with the Colorado Youth Soccer Association. She was also very involved with her sorority, Beta Sigma, for the past 50 years.

Karen loved to be with her family and friends above anything else in life. She always made sacrifices to make sure her kids, grandkids, family and friends were blessed with a little bit more than expected. She loved to laugh, joke and had never met a stranger.

Karen was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Arnell. She is survived by children Chris Coufal and his wife, Debbie, Jeff Coufal and his wife, Jana, and Jacque Fennelly and her husband, Pete; grandchildren Joshua (Nicole), Justen (Kayla), and Mariah Coufal; Fharron (Ryan) Caswell; Paige Coufal, and Patrick (Mindy), Nickolas (Mikaylia) and Johnathon (Tiffany) Fennelly, Tabitha (Joey) Mochal; great grandchildren Carter, Sadie and Leah Coufal and Jaden Caswell; Daxton Mochal, Jesse, Delaney, Nathaniel, Embrie and Katalilly Fennelly; and McKenna and Kylie Bruster; siblings Bill, Greg and Steve Hufnagel and Janet Lundeen.
