Karen Louise Ford

Karen Louise (Elliott) Ford, 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 21, 2018 after fighting cancer for 6 years.

Karen was born on October 18, 1943 in Davenport, Iowa to her mother Dorothy Elliott. She attended Andrew University in Berrien Springs, Michigan where she met her husband Bryce Ford.

On December 23, 1963, Karen married Bryce Ford in Davenport, Iowa and in 1967 they moved to Denver, Colorado. Together they shared almost 55 of marriage.

Karen is survived by her husband Bryce, her son Shawn A. Ford of Westminster, Colorado, her daughter Dawn (Brandon) Green, of Centennial, Colorado her grandchildren Samantha (Justin) Millard of Oquawka, Illinois, Bailey Green, and Tyler Green, her great-grandchildren Hunter Millard and Bryson Millard. She is preceded in death by her son Bryce A. Ford.

Karen worked as an Avon beauty sales representative since 1969 until 2 months before her passing. She had many clients over the years who became her friends. She also held a variety of responsible administrative positions and was a beauty representative for perfume companies.

Karen enjoyed her yorkies, her family, her husband Bryce, and the company of close friends.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel 5303 E. County Line Rd. Centennial, Colorado 80122.
