Karen Kathleen Kalkbrenner

Karen Kathleen Kalkbrenner, 64, of Sierra Vista, Arizona, went home to our Father Thursday, September 6, 2012 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on January 1, 1948, to John and Bonnie Moore, graduated from High School in Oklahoma City, and attended Oklahoma University. She was married for 30 years to Ed, the love of her life. She is survived by her husband Edward J. Kalkbrenner; daughters Dawn Hilterbrand, Tiffany Peeke, Melissa Sauter and Cynthia Kalkbrenner; sisters Debbie Dennis and Susan Springs; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many more loving family and friends. Her parents preceded her in death. Karen worked for Southwestern Bell and AT&T for more than 17 years, in a variety of management positions before retiring to start an international consulting business. There will be a Visitation Wednesday, September 12, 2012, 6:00-7:00 pm, followed by Recitation of the Rosary at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado 80227. An additional Visitation will be Thursday, September 13, 5:00-7:00 pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado 80227. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 14, 2012, 10:30 am at Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 6673 West Chatfield Avenue, Littleton, Colorado 80128. Interment following at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Pavilion C, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80235.
