Karen Louise Kappler

Karen was born July 19, 1938 in Maud, OK to Raymond and Verdena Edwards. She entered into eternal life with Jesus on March 3, 2018 at the age of 79. Karen had degrees from Denver University and a Master of Music from Colorado University. She married Sam Clifton, and together they had two daughters: Mary Louise Clifton of Seattle, WA and Catherine Sehorn of Shawnee, OK. She married Karl Kappler in 1989, and together they traveled extensively in the US, Canada, Mexico, and several foreign countries. She was predeceased by her parents and first husband. She is survived by her husband Karl Kappler; her sister Ramona Farthing; two daughters; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Karen was a member of the SAI Musical Fraternity, and the Gideous International Auxiliary. Visitation Wednesday, March 7 from 5-7pm at the Horan & MCConaty Family Chapel 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, 80229. Funeral Service Thursday, March 8 at 1pm at Northglenn Christian Church 1800 E. 105th Pl, Northglenn, 80233. Reception to immediately follow.
