Karen Jean Kaggie Kuffer passed away on May 13, 2024, in Superior, Colorado. She was born on June 6, 1936, in Burley, Idaho. She dedicated her life to her family, her Heavenly Father and serving in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Karen attended schools in California and graduated from Chafee High School in 1954. She met her husband Bannie Kuffer when she was 14 years old, and married her sweetheart February 1,1955 in the Mesa Arizona Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They had 4 children in the next 5 years. Karen and Bannie had many adventures together during the 51 years they were married.

Karen's love for music was a defining aspect of her life. She started singing solo when was just 3 years old standing atop a piano. She sang solos and lead choirs throughout her entire life.

She held many church callings that gave her special opportunities to be of service to others and did so willingly with heartfelt devotion. She especially enjoyed leading her congregations and choirs until she was 85 years old. Her warm and loving personality touched the hearts of all who knew her.

She had a deep love for her family. She loved doing genealogy and traveled the world learning the stories and seeing first hand the homelands of her ancestors. She enjoyed baking bread, homemade cookies, lemon meringue pie and cheese cake for her husband and children.
 
Karen is survived by her daughters, Keetette (Kenneth) Turner, Karvin Kuffer, Arnene (R. Alan) Lee; son, Rex Kuffer; grandchildren, Brandon (Mariessa) Turner, Alicia Simper, Cameron (Raechel) Turner, Kara Brill, Trevor Brill, Robert Brill, Shandelle (Todd) Wahlin, Adam (Tiffany) Lee, Joshua (Emma) Lee, Justin (Ella) Lee, Katrina (Tim) Reidhead, Lacey (Dustin) Owens, Cody (Alannah) Lee; 37 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. She is also survived by her two brothers Bruce (Chris) Kaggie and Lance (Joyce) Kaggie. She is preceded in death by her husband Fernand Bannie Kuffer and grandson Kyle Bannie Kuffer.
 
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am, on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4655 Table Mesa Drive, Boulder, Colorado 80305. A viewing will be held beginning at 9:30am.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:00am, on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery, 400 Center Street, Taylor, Arizona 85939.

Karen will always be remembered for her unwavering dedication to family, her Heavenly Father, her love for music and the joy she brought to those around her. Her spirit lives on through the many memories she leaves behind.
