Karen Jo Westover

Karen Jo Westover, 58, of Lafayette passed away on December 8, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 22, 1961 in Sidney, Nebraska she is the daughter of Jack and Caryl (Kelley) Robinson. Karen married Jeffery Westover on March 21, 1987 and together they shared 32 years of marriage and many years before that.

Karen worked as the planning director for the City of Lafayette. She loved her work.

She enjoyed traveling, dancing and celebrating any holiday with friends and family surrounding her.

She will be remembered for her contagious smile and laughter, her drive at anything she put her mind to, and of course how much she loved her family.

In addition to her husband, Jeff, she is survived by her sons: Kelley Westover and his wife, Kendra, Jimmy Westover and his girlfriend, Danielle; her step son, Dustyn Westover and his wife, Lenna; her step-daughter, Tanisha Castro and her husband, Max; her siblings: Lynn Miner-Bell and her husband, David Bell, Tim and Mo Robinson, Jay Robinson, Bruce and Janet Robinson. She was loved by her three grandchildren: Mossimo, Abbigail and Elijah Castro as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family!

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Caryl Lee Kelley and Jack Brian Robinson.

A Memorial Service to celebrate and honor Karen will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 2pm at the Good News Church 5511 W 136th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80020.

Memorial donations may be made in Karen's name to: City of Lafayette Attn: Historic Preservation Board, 1290 S. Public Road Lafayette, CO 80026.
