Kari Lee Palmer was led home by Christ on Sunday, March 17, 2019
Kari was born on October 11,1968 in Denver, Colorado and remained a Denver resident all her life. Kari graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, and went on to attend Northeastern Junior College in Sterling. Kari then went on to study Graphics Art Design in Denver.
Kari had a heart for children and began her working career as a Teacherâs Assistant with Three Bears Learning Center, where she enjoyed working with toddlers. Kari then had an opportunity to use her arts degree working at Michaels, where she worked for several years, and where she gained a reputation for her precise framing skills. Kariâs next step was to Wells Fargo, where she worked for 23 years. Her last position with the bank was that of Operations Manager, In this role, Kari enjoyed her team and the friendships she developed with her co-workers. Kari had a soft and caring nature. She was a good listener and was empathetic in her support for others. Kari loved animals and treasured time with her beloved labradoodle, Jake. Kari had a dry sense of humor and an infectious laugh that came easily when she was tickled by something.
Kari was a woman of faith and knew Jesus Christ as her personal savior. Her relationship with God gave her undefinable grace as she faced difficulties in this life, and Kari never waivered in testimony about Godâs abiding love.
Kari is preceded in death by her mother Maggie, father Ralph and her grandparents. She is survived by her sister Kristi Palmer, Aunt Ila Jean Beale, cousin Natalie Esquivel and her treasured ânieceâ and ânephewsâ, Harper, Lucy and Oliver Esquivel, all of Denver, CO, as well as a number of extended family members and a multitude of cherished friends.
A funeral service for Kari will be held at Horan & McConaty on Colorado Boulevard (1091 S. Colorado Boulevard, Denver CO 80246) on 3-22-19 at 1:00 and a reception will follow the service. Kari will be laid to rest on 3-23-19 at Home of Peace Cemetery in Grover, CO. at 11:00
