Kari Skabo

Kari Lynn Skabo passed away September 9, 2020 at Parker Adventist Hospital. Born in Wyandotte, Michigan, she moved with her family in 1973 to Colorado. She was active in Special Olympics and represented the State of Colorado at the International Games where she won a gold medal in gymnastics. Kari worked many years at Arby’s and King Soopers (over 22 years). She is survived by her parents, Ron and Verona Skabo of Lakewood, Colorado; her sister, Randine Nelson and niece, Reanna Nelson of Fort Collins, Colorado. Private services will be at Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church in Lakewood.
