Karin A. Schmidt

Karin Schmidt of Littleton, Colorado, born in Bremerhaven, Germany on January 15, 1948, entered into Heaven November 3, 2003. She met Clif Schmidt while he was stationed in Germany and they were married October 21, 1969. She emigrated to the U.S., August 11, 1970. She found out a few days prior to her death that she would become a citizen of the United States on November 26, 2003. She worked with Bobby D. Hill as the comptroller for H&W Drilling Fluids from 1978 to1989. Afterward, Karin became the top car sales professional at Medved Autoplex for 14 years. She was dearly loved by all her fellow employees and clients. Everyone was special to Karin. Her passion and love for other human beings and animals will always be remembered. She strived to achieve the highest level of exuberance and celebration of life. The gifts Karin gave all others who crossed her path, were lessons of love, concern and compassion. She always touched, hugged and called those she met 'Darling'. Beloved wife of Clif for 34 years. Mother of Andrea Borne; sister of Marlene (Bodo) Wiedenhoeft, Klaus (Frauke) Imhoff; Hilke (Wilfried) Hohmann; Lutz (Monika) Imhoff; daughter of Edith Imhoff and the late Heinz Imhoff, all of Germany. Visitation, Wednesday (today) 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, 10:00 am, Denver First Church of the Nazarene, 3800 E. Hampden Ave., Englewood, Colorado. The family requests that everyone be dressed in bright and lively colors for her celebration. In lieu of flowers, Karin's charity of choice is to Porter Hospice / 2379 S. High Street / Denver, Colorado 80210 / USA.
