Karl Allen Martinez

Karl, 67, of Arvada, Colorado, died February 12, 2017 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Karl was an accomplished businessman successful in numerous real estate and business redevelopment ventures in the Denver metro area and President, Stellar Financial Group. Karl will be remembered by his generous love for others, his incredibly quick wit and humor that will be missed by his numerous friends and extended family. He is survived by his daughter, Kari Ann King and son, DeWayne Martinez of Denver; granddaughters, Savannah and Sachea; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Paul Martinez (Betty), Christine Martinez (Jerry), Kenneth Martinez (Darlene), Evelyn Casias (George Montoya), Eva Martinez, Veronica Avila (John), Mary Vigil (Randy); Char Archuleta (Amos), Michael Martinez (Meghan) and Mark Martinez (Lisa); numerous nieces and nephews; and the love of his life, Alicia Avila of Denver. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rose Elaine Martinez (Commerce City); and parents, Paul & Eleanor Martinez (Colorado Springs). The family will receive friends at public viewing, Thursday, 3-6:30 PM, with prayer vigil & sharing of memories to begin at 6:30 PM, all at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, in Arvada, Colorado 80003. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 17, 2017, at 10:30 AM, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Drive, in Northglenn, Colorado 80233. Interment, with military honors rendered by the United States Army, immediately follows at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 12801 West 44th Avenue, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
