Karla J. (Broska) Catanzaro was welcomed to the world on September 7, 1955 by her parents Wandalee M. (Snyder) and Nicholas A. Broska in Lincoln, Kansas. Karla grew up in her home town of Lucas, Kansas where she loved spending time with her grandparents on their farm. She also lived in Hutchinson, Kansas where she graduated high school. She and Michael Cunningham were blessed with three children, Jennifer, Nathan, and Gigi. Karla began working at Storage Technology in Colorado. There she met Paul Catanzaro. They were married and to this union blessed with four more children, Nicholas, Kendra, Samantha, and Paul. Years later, Karla worked at Sundstrand Corporation where she retired.
Karla with husband Paul resided in Broomfield, Colorado where they raised their seven children. Karla loved to entertain family in her home. She loved cooking and baking and was eager to share her culinary creations with all. She took great pride in holidays and family gatherings, was fully devoted to her family, and took great joy in preparing for family feasts and gatherings.
Karla leaves behind to celebrate her memory her husband Paul Catanzaro; seven children, Jenny Knudsen, Nathan Cunningham, Gigi Montoya, Nicholas ""Nicky"" Catanzaro, Kendra Catanzaro, Samantha Catanzaro, and Paul ""Andy"" Catanzaro; ten grandchildren, Jill Cunningham, Janelle Knudsen, Blake Knudsen, Michael Cunningham, Jaylee Montoya, Krista Kelly, Jonathan Montoya, Lucas Schofding, Liliana Schofding, and Logan Schofding; sisters Kristy Broska, Cheryl Broska, and Amanda Smith; among many other family and friends. Karla was preceded in death by her parents Wandalee Brichacek and Nicholas Broska.
A celebration of Karla's life will be held at a date to be determined by the family. She will make her final journey home to Lucas, Kansas.
