Karter Grey Hopkins, 21, of Aurora, Colorado passed away on January 8, 2017. He is survived by his mother, Gina Lynn Flowers (William Flowers); his father, Scott Glen Hopkins (Becky Hopkins); his sister, Kyli Elizabeth Hopkins; his step-sister, Jessica Pizzulo; and step-brother, Chris Pizzulo. Karter is also survived by his grandparents, Floyd and Norma Hopkins, Diana Brown and Doug Vandertuin; his aunts and uncles, Gyll and Kevin Kerekes, Jim Perkins, Lori and Dave Yarkosky, Bryan and Melanie Brown, Paul and Andrea Hopkins, Leigh Ann Hopkins; his first cousins, Sterling, Alexa, Drew, Joe, Avery, Lacey, Chelsey, Bryce, Caitie, Grant, Adriana, and many other extended family members. Karter graduated from Cherokee Trail High School in 2013. He loved snowboarding and skateboarding. Throughout his life, he played football, baseball, and lacrosse. He was also very passionate about art. Karter was a tender-hearted young man who was always willing to help anyone. He was known for being incredibly loving and kind. A visitation will take place on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 5-8 P.M. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial.
