Katharina May Whitley, 92, of Aurora, Colorado passed away on June 9, 2020. Katharina was born in Aschaffenburg, Germany on December 23, 1927 to Josef and Cazilia May. She later met and married David V. Whitley, and together they raised three children.

Katharina was preceded in death by her parents, Josef and Cazilia; her husband, David; her siblings, Wanda Birzer, Simon May, Jacob May, Thekla Aulbach; her niece, Gerlinde Birzer. She is survived by her children, Ulrike M. Patrick, Robert Whitley (the late Debbie Rose Donald), Jannett & Joe Pacheco; brother, Josef May; grandchildren, Carlos & April Pacheco, Jason & Jennifer Patrick, Michael & Jessica Pacheco, Kristi & Allan McNeely, Rustin J. Whitley, Adam Donald, Allan Donald; great grandchildren, Kayla B. Pacheco, Noah B. Patrick, Samara L. Stuart, Aubrie E. Patrick, Michael Donald, Harley Donald, Micah I. Pacheco; nieces and nephews, Dagi & Mike Brost, Helga Brach, Peter Schéttner, Jϋrgen & Tanja May, Hiltrud & Erich Lintner, Dietland & Pascal Staud, Franz Josef & Conny May.

Visitation and Rosary to take place on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Horan & McConaty, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, Colorado. A Catholic Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, also at Horan & McConaty, followed by burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery that afternoon.
