Katherine Elizabeth Leuenberger

Katherine Elizabeth Leuenberger, the daughter of Mae and Louis Krueger, was born on January 22, 1929, in Riverton, Wyoming. She lived in Utah, Texas, and New Mexico before finally residing in Denver and its southern suburbs – her home for 47 years. She is preceded in death by her sister Ellen, her husband of 48 years, Richard (Dick) Leuenberger, her eldest daughter Mary and a grandson. Kathy had 8 children: Mary, Rita, Jim, Kurt, Nancy, Susan, Tina and Paul. She had 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. When the youngest child started school, she took a job at Sears where she worked for 25 years. She enjoyed volunteering at St. Mark Catholic Church, playing bridge, throwing family parties, reading books and attending her children's and grandchildren's performances. Kathy was an eternal optimist and was filled with joy when surrounded by her large family. Kathy peacefully passed away on October 26, 2019.

Viewing and Rosary Services will be held at Horan and McConaty, 5303 E. County Line Rd. Centennial, CO on Friday November 1. (Viewing at 5:00pm followed by a Rosery at 6:00pm.)

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church, 9905 Foothills Canyon Blvd. on Saturday November 2 at 11:30am. Reception will follow in the Church's lower level.

Internment Services: Littleton Cemetery, Monday, November 4 at 1:00 pm
