Kathleen Marie Anthony

Kathleen Marie Anthony, 56, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, passed away on August 7, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 31 years, Rick Anthony and her daughter Kelsey; as well as many relatives, neighbors, friends and students. Kathleen was a teacher, first teaching sciences at St. Mary's High School in Cheyenne, WY, then Bow Memorial School in Bow, NH. In 1986 she took on a new role as mother and teacher for daughter Kelsey as well as numerous other young people taken under her wing over the years. Her determination and positive outlook are an inspirational lesson for all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Kathleen Hunt of Ashland, Wisconsin. A Memorial Service will be held at Friday, August 21, 2009, 4:00 p.m., at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (one block to the west of Holly Street), in Centennial, Colorado 80122. Interment of Kathleen's ashes will be held at Douglas Park Cemetery, Douglas, Wyoming at a date to be determined. Memorials may be made in Kathleen's name to Susan G.
