Kathleen H Funk

Kathleen H Funk passed away 12/26/2017. Kathy is survived by her husband Tom of 48 years and two grand children. She had one daughter who died in 2015 at the age of 41. She was born Colver Pa. a small coal town in Western Pa. on May 31, 1945. She and her new husband of two years moved to Aurora in 1971. Kathy was very involved in local politics and served as the Aurora Republican Womans Club president for several terms. She also worked for the Arapahoe County Election Commission until her retirement in 2003. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday Jan 11, 2018 at 10:30 at St Michael the Archangel Church 19099 E Floyd Ave. Aurora Co. 80013. A Remember Kathy reception will be held at the church after mass. Internment will be at Ft Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W Kenyon Ave. Denver Co. 80236. In Lieu of flowers, if you wish , make a donation to Childrens Hospital 13123 E 16th Ave. Aurora Co 80045.
