Kathleen ""Kathy"" Sue Heimer

Kathleen ""Kathy"" Sue Heimer, age 66, went to be with her Savior on Friday, January 10, 2020
after a hard fought battle with cancer. During her final moments here, she was surrounded by
those she loved.

Born February 22, 1953 in Denver, CO, she lived in Littleton, CO and worked in the school
system and most recently at Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church as the Nursery
Supervisor until retiring in 2019. Her care and passion for children was well known by anyone
who knew her and she was a safe person for many. Kathy was a beloved grandmother, caring
sister, nurturing mother, and a loving wife. She was a strong fighter throughout her journey with
cancer and never gave up. Her faith in Jesus was instrumental in her life and especially as she
walked the path of having cancer. She rarely complained about having cancer and she used
this disease to help point others towards Christ. Her journey here on earth is now finished and
she is with her Savior in heaven. Her pain and suffering that she once experienced here on
earth is no more.

Survivors include her husband Daniel Heimer, her two children Jared Heimer and Nathan
Heimer and his wife Mindy, her grandchildren Haven and Race Heimer, and her sister, Lyne
Bieseimeier.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 2pm at Horan &
McConaty Funeral Services (3101 S Wadsworth Blvd Lakewood, CO 80227). Family, relatives,
friends, and anyone who cared for Kathy are welcome to attend and celebrate her life. Kathy's
entombment will be a private ceremony with close friends and family.
