Kathleen ""Kathy"" A. Howes

Just barely 71, of Arvada, CO, Kathleen passed away on October 7, 2013. She attended Holy Family in north Denver for all 12 years. She worked 35 years for the telephone company and was an amazing single mother of 4 boys. Kathleen enjoyed traveling, reading, spending time with friends and family having a good time, and was the perfect combination of love and toughness. She was preceded in death by her son Greg. She is survived by her sons Mark, Paul and Steve (Angie); grandmother of Keith, Kyle and Cole; sister of Pat (Jack) Sliemers; aunt of Jacob (Jen) Sliemers, Heidi Jung (David Menard) and Chankaroon Guedi (Murad Zekaria) and their children. She is also survived by several extended family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada. The family extends an invitation to join them for a reception and old-fashioned Irish Wake following the Service at The Rear Inn, 4991 W 80th Avenue Suite C, Westminster.
