Kathleen was born on October 08, 1934, she passed peacefully, surrounded by her 7 daughters at her home in Denver Colorado on August 17, 2023.

Kathleen was born in Durrow Ireland. She lived most of her young life in Ireland and London where she was known by her nickname Kitty.  Kathy, as most people knew her, lived most of her adult life in Missouri, Colorado and Florida.

Kathy and Gary were married 49 years and in 2015 made Florida their home. She loved their RV and spent many years traveling throughout the US. She enjoyed traveling to the Good Sam Rallies and made many new friends along the way. Kathy enjoyed yard sales, traveling the back roads of small towns, meeting new people the nightly rally events, and white coconut cake.  She enjoyed dancing, crafting, bingo, playing games with her grandchildren and an occasional “High Ball”.  For those who knew Kathy (and even some that didn’t) you would receive her morning and evening messages.  This was the highlight of her day. she looked forward to reading each and every response she received.

Kathy loved her family and will forever be loved, missed and remembered by her daughters Jeannine (Steve) Koen, Sharon (Steve) Green, Billie(Jeff) Kunkel, Cheryl (Paul) Compagnat, Lanna (Randy) Bailey, Julie Henley and Ronda (Scott) Ferrell. She has 11 grandchildren, Stephanie, Brian, Kristen, Tyler, Torrie, Amy, Brandon, Megan, Craig, Ben and Lindsey. Her 15 great grandchildren Landon, Madison, Dawson, Jade, Araya, Taylor, Hailey, Shelby, Ander, Autumn, Peyton, Brantley, Brooks, Baylor, Taysom, Bailey, and Mary Elizabeth and 1 great great grandchild Lilly Jean.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gary, mother Ellen, father Thomas, 17 brothers and sisters, son William Thomas and son in law Gilles.

A celebration of life for Kathy and Gary Lindsey will be held on August 28^th at 12:00 pm in the Heart Light Center at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue Aurora CO 80014.

Services have been entrusted to Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on the online guest book.
