Kathryn L. Jones

Kathryn L (Codemo) Jones, age 97, entered eternal life on Thursday February 22, 2024.  Kathryn was born in Hillsboro, Illinois on August 15, 1926, to Louise (Fournier) and Frank Codemo.  Kathryn married Robert D Jones in December 1945.   The marriage ended in divorce.  

Kathryn loved music and if music was playing you could find her tapping her feet, clapping her hands, and singing along.   Kathryn was an amazing cook and baker, and one of her greatest joys was giving people meals and baked goods.

Kathryn is survived by her sister, Rosella (Skeet); daughter, Jane; brother-in-law Bill (Sue); grandsons Terry (Seena), Steven (Heike) and Matt; granddaughters Kim and Stacy; great granddaughters Paige and Nyla; great grandson Timothy and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Kathryn was greeted in Heaven by her ex-Robert; her son, Terry; her parents, Louise & Frank; her sister, Francis; her brother, Bob (Nancy); her son-in-law, Steven; her grand dogs Cooper, Boogie, Bouncer, Bo, Cassie and other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday March 26, 2024.  The service will be held at Heather Gardens Rec Center in the Auditorium, 2888 S. Heather Gardens Way, Aurora, CO 80014.
