Heaven has brought home the Angel we have lost.
Loving mother and wife, Kathryn Staples lost her short yet valiant cancer battle on May 2, 2020. She was born in Coalville, Utah, a daughter of Angus and Virginia Pace.
Kathryn married her high school sweetheart, Norman, on May 10, 1968, and they were married just shy of 52 years.
With deepest sorrow, we pay tribute to nearly 71 years of a wonderful life overflowing with smiles, generosity, crafts, hard work, Christlike example, travel, compassion, commitment, dedication, family, spoiling grand kids, love of life, and unconditional love.
Kathryn worked for many years in an elementary cafeteria and loved every child that came through the line, as if they were her own. She also worked as a patient coordinator at an Aesthetics practice, treating every patient as if they were her best friend. She was always making everyone feel welcome and special.
Kathryn is survived by her husband Norman; sons, Marty (Miriam) Staples and Michael (Realle) Staples; daughter, Laura (Jerret) Oliver; grandchildren, Wyatt, Violet and Maxwell Staples; brother, Gale (Kathleen) Pace; step sisters, Linda (Russell) Orrs, Kathy (Kevin) Wilde, Charlotte (Bruce) Hager; and step brother, Blaine (Dorothy) Boyer. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Marlene.
Due to the current health crisis, no memorial service will be held at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Kathryn's memory to be made to either organization below:
