Kathryn S. Tudek

Kathryn Stark Tudek, 64, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away peacefully on Thursday October 5, 2017 at St. Anthony Hospital after a long illness. Kathryn was the first of six children born to John and Lorene (Barlow) Stark in Denver, Colorado. Her undergraduate work was completed at the University of Northern Colorado and she received a degree in environmental law from George Washington University. Kathryn worked as a reference librarian for the National Parks Service in Lakewood, Colorado. On September 10, 1988 she married John Tudek and they spent many years traveling throughout the country visiting as many national monuments and parks as possible. Kathryn is survived by her husband, John; brother, Larry (Mary) Stark; sister, Barbara (Frank) Philipp; sister Suzanne Stark; brother Steve (Linda) Stark; brother Thomas (Heidi) Stark; and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed. A Graveside Service is scheduled on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Nine-thirty in the morning at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Pavilion ""B"", 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado. A Memorial Service is scheduled on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Ten-thirty in the morning at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado.
