Kathryn Warnke

Kathryn ""Kay"" Warnke, 102, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2012. She is preceded in death by her her loving husband of 53 years, ""Bud"". Born December 26, 1909 in Denver, after attending South High, Kay worked for Mountain Bell for 38 years. Kay & Bud enjoyed square dancing, bowling & travel with the Telephone Pioneers. They were dedicated volunteers for the American Cancer Society & a special private family. Her nurturing spirit embraced numerous family & friends. Funeral Mass will be Friday, February 24, 2012, 10:00 AM, Church of the Risen Christ, 3060 South Monaco Parkway, Denver. Interment follows at 12:30 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area ""B"", 3698 S. Sheridan Boulevard, Denver. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Denver Hospice.
