Kathy Howard

Kathy Howard peacefully passed on to the next life on April 23, 2013. Kathy was born August 4, 1951 in Redding, CA, to Bobby and Helen Adams. She spent her childhood playing with cousins and her best friend and sister, Diann. When her daughters were born, they shared the same closeness and fun times. Kathy is survived by her daughters, Nicole (Kizzy) and Melissa (Jason), grandchildren Kerry, Suzzy, Eli, Jaxen, Sky, Madeline, Janessa, Elijah, and Autumn, sister, Diann, and several extended family members. She is best known for her infectious laugh and quick wit. Everyone who knew her has a memory of giggling uncontrollably for no other reason than Kathy was laughing. It did not matter if it was playing games with the family or in a Sacrament Meeting, if she had to laugh, she did, and all around her joined in. Kathy was a true wordsmith. She had a great love of language and always had a snappy comment that could lighten stress and give a new perspective to trials. She had a firm testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and lived a life of faith and righteousness. She found joy in the Gospel, growth of her children and grandchildren and the fact that they all are fully active in the Church with strong, ever growing testimonies. Her knowledge of eternal families brings comfort to her family in her passing and we say not ""good-bye"", but ""until later"". A visitation will be held on Friday April 26, 2013, from 6-8 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado 80003. Funeral Service will be held Saturday April 27, 2013, 10 AM at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Arvada Stake Center, 7080 Independence Street, Arvada, Colorado 80004.
