Kathy Walsh

Kathy Walsh, aged 69, of Aurora, CO, embraced eternal peace on March 1, 2025. She was a vibrant soul who cherished life and found her greatest joy in the love of her large family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend - She touched the lives of so many with her gentle warmth, kindness, and unwavering generosity.

She is reunited in heaven with her father, Howard Eugene Burkhalter. She leaves behind her loving husband of 49 years, JT; her beloved mother, Martha Burkhalter; her children, Robyn, Brenna, and Michael; her treasured grandchildren, Dylan and Maddie; her sister, Jo; her brothers, Gene and PJ; and a deeply cherished extended family and circle of friends.

A celebration of her beautiful life will be held, first, in Jacksonville, FL, on April 10, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at the Cecil Field Chapel. The second will be held August, in Alaska with details to come. Kathy lived a life of selfless love and service to others, in her memory, her family asks that In lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
