Katie M. Martinez

Katie M. Martinez, 91, of Arboles, Colorado passed away peacefully on March 4, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 10, 1928 in New Mexico to Rosendo and Andrea (Casias) Marquez. Katie married Joe S. Martinez and together they shared 70 years of marriage. Joe passed away in 2017.

Katie enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting and baking.

She will be remembered for her kindness, love of family and deep devotion to her faith.

She is survived by her children; Prescilla Ingram and her husband, Gary , Larry Martinez and his wife Cheryl, Beverly Fourhman and her husband Bill, MaryJo Camaren and her husband Paul; her grandchildren: Eric Rivera, Leah Rivera, Andrea Montano, and Marques Martinez; 8 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; and sister, Maima Santistevan.

A Rosary Service will be held on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 7:00pm at Horan & McConaty, 7577 W. 80th Ave. Arvada, CO 80003. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 11:00am at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 3900 Pierce St. Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 9:00am at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd. Denver, CO 80235, Staging Area ‘A'.
