Katsuko Hosaka Allen

Katsuko Hosaka Allen, passed away March 20, 2008, in Aurora, Colorado. She was born in Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan, a daughter of Masakatsu and Takako (Genba) Hirai. She is survived by her husband, Richard ""Dick"" N. Allen, SMSGT, USAF, Ret., of Centennial, Colorado; daughters, Kumi Hosaka, of Denver, Colorado & Michiko Hosaka, of Nagoya, Japan; two grandchildren, Emi & Masanow, of Japan; also three sisters, Masako, Hiroko & Yoshiko, all living in Japan. In her younger years, Katsuko worked for the US Air Force at Tachikawa Air Base, Japan, as a Transportation Freight Traffic Specialist. After her marriage to Dick, Katsuko, a gentle woman, found joy and peace in staying at home raising their daughter, Kumi. Katsuko enjoyed watching tennis, football and the DU Pioneers hockey team. We love her and will miss her always! A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm, at Horan & McConaty, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave, Denver. Private burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
