Kay Frances Ahr

Kay Frances Ahr of Highlands Ranch, Colorado died on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 after a tough battle with cancer. She was born June 5, 1947 to Charles Leo and Mary Frances Reckers in Covington, Kentucky where she graduated from Holy Cross High School. She is survived by her 3 children; Brad Clasgens of Aurora, Colorado; Robin Petoia of Elizabeth, Colorado; Michael Ahr of Olympia, Washington; partner Richard Billa of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; brother Don Reckers of Spartanburg, South Carolina; and 6 grandchildren; Alyssa Sells, Colton Arguello, Alex Clasgens, Jacob Arguello, Sydney Arguello, and Gabriella Petoia. Kay is preceded in death by Charles Reckers (father), Mary Reckers (mother), and Robert Clasgens (husband). For the past several years Kay worked in membership services at the Highlands Ranch Community Association where she greatly enjoyed her co-workers and community members. Kay's family would like to extend deepest thanks to her coworkers, neighbors, and friends who have showed such tremendous support throughout her illness.
