Keith Elmo DeJaynes

Keith E. DeJaynes, 80, of Lakewood, Colorado, our loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away December 18, 2019. He was born September 6, 1939 in Denver, Colorado to Elmo Selby and Grace Lucille Clark DeJaynes.

Keith graduated in 1959 from Seminole High School in Seminole, Texas. While attending High School, he met the love of his life, Mary Gaydene Drennan. They were married on June 30, 1960 in Seminole. Keith went on to complete one year at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, TX.

Keith worked as a mobile crane service operator for Winslow Crane Service for 35 years. Besides spending time with his family, his favorite hobbies were fishing, hunting and woodworking.

Keith is survived by his beloved wife, Gaydene; daughter and sons, Shelly (husband James) LaPlant, Shawn DeJaynes and Kelly DeJaynes; 9 grandchildren, Kayla, Calvin, J.T. (wife Jaimie), Spencer, Diamond, Rachael, Gianna, Tieryen and Jake; great-grandson, Jackson, and another great grandchild due in February. He is also survived by his sister, Shari Paris. Keith was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wayne and sister, Sibyl Elaine.

A Memorial service for Keith will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, December 28^th, at the Lakewood Church of Christ, 455 So. Youngfield Court, Lakewood, CO 80228.
