Keith Wayne Reine

Keith Wayne Reine, age 54, passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2024 in Denver, Colorado. He was born on January 27, 1970 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Kenneth Michael Reine and Lynette Marie (Verbois) Reine. He grew up in Baton Rouge where he developed a love for baseball and fishing on the bayous and spillways with his parents and two brothers.

After graduating from Scotlandville Magnet High School in 1988, he attended Louisiana State University. While a student there he developed his passion for LSU Football. His love for the purple and gold ran deep on Saturdays as the Tigers played against other SEC opponents. He graduated in 1995 with a Bachelors of Business Degree in Quantitative Business Analysis. While in college, Keith began his military service with the Louisiana National Guard.

Upon graduation, he started his information technology career fixing computers for IBM and moved into software consulting with various companies. This transition to consulting prompted the move to his new permanent home of Centennial, Colorado in 1997. During his time in Colorado, he continued his distinguished military service with the Colorado National Guard and retired in 2015. He created lasting bonds with his fellow service members that have continued long after his retirement from service.

In addition to watching his LSU Tigers, Keith enjoyed taking long motorcycle rides, getting in some fishing and helping friends and family with vehicle restorations. He gained great satisfaction in bringing engines back to life no matter if it was a lawn mower, motorcycle, car or truck. He was willing to help his friends and family in a pinch when they needed assistance.

Keith is survived by his parents, Kenneth Michael Reine and Lynette Marie (Verbois) Reine, his older brother, Kenneth Michael Reine II, sister-in-law, Melissa (Cannella) Reine, his niece, Mikayla (Reine) Archambeau, nephew, Corbin Reine, his partner, Wendy Lynn Blake, foster children, Raelynn and River, who affectionately called him Papo, and former spouse, Kristine (McDonald) Reine. He is preceded in death by his younger brother, Kyle Mark Reine.

He will be forever missed.
