Keli Michelle Jackson, age 49, died in her home on Wednesday, January 1, 2020. The victim of a senseless act of domestic violence.
Born on March 2, 1970, in Orange County, California, Keli grew up in the beautiful mountains of Conifer & Evergreen, Colorado. In her adult years she first bought a home in the Denver Highlands. In 2014 she sold that home and bought herself a beautiful home in Lakewood, Colorado. Keli worked in Lakewood, at American Water Works Association (AWWA) as the Executive Assistant to the President for the past decade.
Keli was a gifted artist, a talented writer, an exceptional cook, and a strong independent woman. She had a voracious love of reading that began at the age of 2. Keli loved reading everything from the Enquirer, to the most in depth historical biographies and novels. She was a fierce patriot and an astute student of the history of the United States of America, its Presidents, and its political system. She had an unwavering love of George Washington and could tell you anything and everything about his life and habits. Her favorite writer of all time was Laura Ingalls Wilder. She has re-read her Little House book set religiously every year since she got it back in 1976 when she was 6, to last year when she was 49. Keli's love of reading was only matched by her love of music. She had eclectic taste in music. You will find everything from Lefty Frizzel to Lizzo in her collection. She never failed to know the latest and greatest on the charts, while still maintain a deep love of the classics. Keli also collected beautiful and unique jewelry throughout her travels and loved wearing them. Each piece having its own unique story, just like Keli.
