Kelly was an enthusiastic man of faith who was involved in many religious education programs at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. He was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus and previously served as Grand Knight. After Kellyâs own conversion to Catholicism, he was inspired to spread his faith among all who sought to find God, and even some who didnât know they were seeking God. He sponsored many candidates seeking to enter the Catholic Faith. He also became involved with the Rosary Makers of St. Thomas More with his mother-in-law, Martha.
Kelly served proudly in the U.S. Air Force for 9+ years and was extremely patriotic. Kelly enjoyed rebuilding classic cars with his son Anthony. His latest projects included restoring a â65 Chevy El Camino and â69 Dodge Charger. He enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and exploring the state of Colorado. He was a fan of the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies and enjoyed attending games.
Kelly was a man who made friends everywhere he went. Naturally outgoing and charismatic, it was hard not to gravitate toward his warm personality. He was a humble, selfless, and honest friend. He cared deeply for those he loved.
We will cherish his memory and miss him deeply.
