Kelly Marie Stephan

Kelly Marie Stephan, age 50, of Centennial, CO passed away Monday, August 13, 2018. Kelly was loving, witty, beautiful, and fun-loving to her core. Known to her family as Kella / Kella Bella / Kelly Girl /Aunt Kel and Mom, Kelly was born in Chicago, Il on April 9, 1968. She moved to Estes Park with her family in 1970 and grew up in the Estes Valley where she stayed until shortly after graduating Estes Park High School, a true Bobcat FOREVER. Raised with a mountain heart, Kelly always had the city flash! So off to the city she went! Kelly entered into the insurance industry her senior year of High School. This blossomed into a fulfilling life long career, culminating when Kelly started her own Agency under the Farmer's Insurance Company. While successful in business, Kelly's greatest achievement was raising her son Alec. She was a lover of music (especially live), the stage, her family, friends and shoes! Kelly's big heart and genuine laugh was infectious, enriching the people around her. Kella was a bright light in this world. She is loved and will be missed by many.
Kelly is survived by her Son – Alec Taylor Stephan; Father – Paul Stephan; Mother and Stepfather – Karen Stephan Kasch and Karl Kasch; Sisters – Deborah Stephan Wolf(husband Karl), Erin Kortgardner, Pattie Kasch (fiancé Lisa Doan) and Brynn Buss (husband Zach); Uncle – Peter Stephan; Aunt; Patty Fisher (husband Tom); Aunt- Maryellen Fulton; Uncle Craig Wolf (wife Lisa); Nieces and Nephews – Josh Wolf (Fiancé Danielle and their sons Dominic and Odin), Payton Wolf, Stella Wolf and Ivy Buss. Cousins; Michael Fulton (wife CJ), Luke Fisher, and Anne Fisher. Kelly is also survived by many more extended family and close friends and her beloved dogs Ben and Daisy. A celebration of Kelly's life will be held at a later date.
