Kenneth Emory Armiger

Kenneth Emory Armiger passed away March 31, 2015 at age 81. Ken was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 8th, 1933. He had two brothers Emerson and John. Ken served in the US Navy 1952-1956. After his Navy discharge he moved to Denver, Colorado and began working at Martin Marietta where he met Cheryl Sue Coleman. They were married November 20, 1965. Ken and Cheryl relocated to California for a short time and both their children, Dean and Jean were born there. They moved back to Colorado in 1971 and Ken continued to work in the Denver area where he made many friends at Stearns Roger, Martin Marietta, and Rocky Flats. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and his wife Cheryl ""Goose"" Armiger. Ken is survived by his daughter Jean Armiger, granddaughters Aryanne and Kate Armiger, his son Dean Armiger, daughter-in-law Sue Armiger, and grandsons Caden and Casey Armiger. Ken will be laid to rest in a private ceremony with military honors at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO.
