Kenneth Ivan Gillespie

Kenneth Ivan Gillespie 28 February 1923 – 15 February 2015 Ken was born and raised in Rochester, MN to Arthur and Fannie Gillespie. He and his family came to Parker, Colorado in 1970 from Rosemount, MN. He leaves behind Nadine, his wife of 67 years, 4 children; Elizabeth, Wayne, Jeffrey, Heidi, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A graduate of Rochester High School in Minnesota and then attending the University of MN where he obtained his Bachelors of Accounting degree in 1946. He then worked as a Chief Accountant for Western Electric for 35 years starting in Minneapolis, MN and transferring to Aurora, CO in 1970. He was a decorated WWII Army/Air Force Veteran based in Italy as a plane mechanic. He was actively involved in the Lutheran Church where he held many offices.
