Kenneth Ray Richard

Kenneth was born August 19, 1934 in Julesburg, Colorado, He passed away peacefully June 24, 2012 at the age of 77. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 54 years, Emilu Lowrey Richard; daughter, Rae Ann Richard; sons, Mike Richard (Traci) and Ron Richard (Jane); 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; his brothers Monte Richard (Phyllis) and Gary Richard (Francine). ""Kenny Ray"" as he was known to friends and family, graduated from Fort Morgan HS in 1952. He attended Colorado A&M University before enlisting as a pilot in the United States Air Force in 1954 where he reached the rank of Captain. Ken joined United Airlines in 1965, retiring as a Captain in 1994. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 27, 2012, from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado. 80227 Memorial Service will be Thursday, June 28, 2012, 3:00PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado. 80227 A Committal Service will be held Monday, July 2, 11:30AM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80235.
