Kevin Sean Ryan

Kevin Sean Ryan, 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones on Jan 31, 2025, in Denver Colorado, after a brave battle with cancer. Born Feb 2, 1953 in Philadelphia, PA, Kevin grew up in Ohio, Michigan & Connecticut where he developed a natural talent for music and made lifelong friends. He attended Catholic Central High School in Grand Rapids MI and Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford CT, where he participated in both the swim and track teams. Kevin graduated from Georgetown University with Bachelor of Science degree in finance and later earned his MBA from Regis College in Denver CO. Kevin had a long successful carrier in banking eventually working for Time Warner Corporation. However his true passion was in music and the arts.

Inspired by the Beatles, Kevin’s musical journey began with his High School Garage Band. He later founded the world famous The Nacho Men in Denver, showcasing his gifted musicianship on various instruments. Beyond his musical abilities, Kevin had a myriad of interests & talents. He was a skilled ventriloquist, tap dancer, karate practitioner, skier, scuba diver, actor and impersonator the King, Elvis. One of Kevin’s most notable acting achievements was his staring role in the national Golf Tech ad campaign.

He enjoyed golfing with his dearest friends, traveling the country and world. 

Kevin is survived by his devoted brother Michael Ryan; sister-in-law Julie; his nephew Joseph Ryan; his nieces Courtney Bartel & Elizabeth Pungarcher; and his cherished great nieces and nephews; Elsie, Charlotte & Ryan Bartel; Penny, Finley & Zoe Ryan; Juliette, Belle & Dax Pungarcher. His dear partner Christina Green and her children Nicholas & Alexandra Green; numerous cousins; and the many incredible friends he loved & inspired.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Christine Shortt; Parents John & Sally Ryan; Brother Daniel Ryan. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Denver Hospice.
