Kim West

Kim Kelly West, age 70, passed away in her home in Westminster on September 21, 2022. Loving wife of Jim West and dear mother of Jennee Studer, Megan Smith and Jeff West. Grandmother of Colton and Ben Smith. Sister to Petie DeBruyne, Sue Murphy, Kerry Kelly, Taryn Kelly and Shane Fulgham.

She met her husband in St. Louis and was married at the St. Louis Cathedral surrounded by friends and family. She lived with her husband in St. Louis, Chicago, Phoenix, Reno and Denver.

Kim graduated from Parkway Central High School in St. Louis, MO and went on to earn a BA in English at University of Nevada Reno. She worked at Logan Chiropractic College for 6 years as their librarian and Danforth Plant and Science Center for 12 years as an administrative assistant.

She loved watching her children and grandchildren play softball, baseball, basketball, football, swimming and gymnastics. Kim enjoyed listening to music, reading and spending time with family.

Funeral Services will take place at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 9998 Grant St, Thornton Colorado 80229 on Saturday, October 8th at 11:00am. Services will be private for immediate family and close friends. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society .
