Korin Lijah Williams, age 18, of Aurora, passed away unexpectedly on February 1, 2014. Korin was born May 23, 1995 to Keith L. Williams and Kindra L. Moore in Denver, Colorado. Other survivors include loving stepparents, Brian Moore and Tawnya Williams, and sisters, Dioria Moore (age 6) and Kira Despain (age 21). Korin also left behind a beautiful 9 month-old daughter, Kayva Lanae Williams, who will be loved and raised by her grandparents, friends, and the community. Korin had a big heart, loved life, and accepted everyone she encountered. She enjoyed school when she was learning and met her graduation requirements early, while pregnant with Kayva and working. Korin was a natural athlete and excelled in track and volleyball. Days prior to Korin's death, she received a job offer at Wells Fargo Bank and was registered to begin a nursing program in March 2014 at Emily Griffith Technical College in Denver, Colorado. Korin was a strong and determined young woman and prided herself on ensuring that Kayva's needs were satisfied. Although Korin has left this earth, she is with her Heavenly Father and will be remembered in our hearts for eternity."" A Public Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17, 2014 from 3:00 to 8:00 in the evening at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue in Aurora. Funeral Services will take place at Colorado Christian Fellowship, 10630 East Iliff Avenue in Aurora on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 beginning at 10:00 in the morning.
