Kristinaâs journey began on November 21st, 1958 in Wichita, Kansas to George and Mary Bearden. Kristina was the youngest of four children: She had one sister, Dora May Brooks, and two brothers, George Jr. and Jerry Bearden. As a child, Kristinaâs favorite activities were going to the movies, skating, and enjoying time with her friend Shirley. Kristina was educated in the public school system, where she attended Stedman Elementary, Kunsmiller Middle and George Washington High schools, where she graduated in 1976. After high school, Kristina moved to California where she met her husband Bernard Robinson Sr..
On March tenth, 1983, Kristina and Bernard Robinson Sr. were married in Las Vegas. To this union were born two sons, Bernard Jr. and Jordan Robinson. Kristina was an awesome mother and wife. Her sons remember her as generous and present. Jordan remembers her giving him all of her tickets at the Dartmouth School Cake Walk so that he could win. Bernard Jr. remembers her being there for the birth of his first son, Eli. Kristina could not wait to be a Grandmother and was blessed with two grandsons, Eli and Preston, and one granddaughter, Ava, who all stole her heart. Her husband loved and cherished her and her sons loved her just the way she was. Her Grandsons will miss her loving and warm smile. She also had two dogs, Gucci and Trinity.
Kristinaâs career was robust in varying aspects of home healthcare including medical records, data entry, billing, and ICD 9 and 10 coding. She worked for many organizations including Astra Healthcare, Allcare/SCL, Home Health with Heart/Angels Cares Home Health, and Best Care Home Health. Her career was something she was most passionate about. Most recently, Kristina worked for Delta Dentist. She loved this job particularly because they took great care of their employees.
Kristina did not have a home church but she believed in God. She also believed in the circle of life, when one ends one begins. She will be missed.
She leaves behind husband Bernard Robinson; sons Bernard Robinson Jr. (Amy) and Jordan Robinson (Sierra); grandsons Eli Robinson and Preston Robinson; granddaughter Ava Robinson; her sister Dora Mae; and nieces and nephews.
