Krystofer Erick Watson, age 30, died unexpectedly in Loveland, Colorado on November 24, 2018.
Krys was born on August 8, 1988 in Waterville, Maine. He lived and worked in northern Colorado as a Laborer, Derrickhand, Driller and Construction Foreman in the oil field industry. Krys was passionate about physical fitness and nutrition. His childhood and teen years were filled with his love of time spent outdoors hiking, walking, exploring, skateboarding, and snowboarding. As an adult, Krys loved the gym, spending time with the love of his life, Rachel, and wrestling with his canine companions, Freya and Thora.
Krys is survived by his 9-year-old son, Jayden Alexander Allarid, of Green Valley Ranch, Colorado, brother Aaryn James Watson of Centennial, Colorado, parents James and Dawn (Prime) Watson of Centennial, Colorado, and the love of his life, Rachel Michelle Morales of Loveland, Colorado. Krys is survived by his grandmother, Barbara Marie Prime of Portland, Maine, and grandparents Robert and Lois Watson of Security, Colorado, in addition, his Icelandic family, Gunnlaugur Helgason and Valgeréur Bjérnsdóttir, Finnbogi Gunnlaugsson and érdís Dégg Orradóttir, Tinna Finnbogadóttir and Bergur Hallgrimsson, Bjartur Finnbogason, Sólrún Lilja Finnbogadóttir. Also surviving Krys is an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and a nephew in Iceland.
Services will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday December 1, 2018 at Horan & McConaty, 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue, (at S. Parker Road), Aurora, Colorado 80014. Reception to immediately follow at Horan & McConaty, HeartLight, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave., Aurora, CO 80014.
