Loving Soulmate, Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Friend Ku Chong Sun was born on May 11, 1948, in the small farm village of Young Kwang Chun-nan-Do, South Korea to her parents, Im Youg Im and Ku Kyo Dong. At the age of 18, Ku left home to work in a fabric factory, making various materials in Inchon. There, she met and fell in love with Ronald Harrington. They were married at the Consul of United States of America in Seoul, South Korea on November 6, 1968. Chong Sun and Ronald traveled to the United States, where they married as Catholics at St. Anthonyâs by Father Patrick J. Caffey. She received her first communion, February 16, 1974 and was confirmed August 1, 1974. She always wanted to work. She worked hard in a carpet mill, Lee Jeans, Imperial Hat Wear, The Post Exchange, and the Commissary. After many years of desperately trying to conceive, she was overjoyed, when she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Angelia Maria on January 29, 1978. Later, Angelia brought an overwhelming joy to Chong Sun when she conceived and gave birth to four beautiful children. Giving Chong Sun four grandchildren bringing her great joy and happiness. Her family was her happiness. Chong Sunâs friends loved her beautiful spirit, and always extended a loving hand when needed. She is now in Godâs hands; she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Ku Chong Sun Harrington departed this life on January 12, 2018. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 9:00AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church,13120 E Kentucky Ave, Aurora, CO 80012, with a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at the church. Services will conclude with a reception in the church hall.
